Denise Dapice, Principal Broker
Beth Hover brings an unrivaled enthusiasm to her career in real estate. Active in the business as a young parent, she returned to real estate after being a teacher at Chatham Central School District for 35 years. She has been involved with many community programs such as Chatham High School's Booster Club, Sean's Run (a program that educates students about the need for seat-belts and the perils of drunk driving, and raises money for scholarships), and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Beth believes that her extensive knowledge of the area allows her to successfully help sellers market their property and buyers find the perfect home. Kay Irish, Associate Broker After a successful career in advertising sales with Gannett Corporation, Kay moved from White Plains, New York to Red Rock in Columbia County in 2000 and joined Chatham Properties. She served as the 2007-2008 President of the Kinderhook Garden Club and is a member of the Old Chatham Hunt Club. She actively supports the Columbia County Historical Society, Red Rock Historical Society and helps with fund-raising for the Columbia Greene Humane Society. Kay, who is a graduate of Cornell University, loves to garden and participates in several book clubs.
Janie Trumpy has been a licensed real estate broker in Columbia County for 21 years. In addition to the highest level of integrity and professionalism, Janie brings a depth of experience in the marketing of some of the finest properties in the area. She has a wealth of knowledge and familiarity with period homes, and restored a C.1790's home in Old Chatham. A member of the Keep Chatham Farming committee, Janie has been involved in environmental groups and enjoys cooking. Carol Bermingham, Sales Associate Carol is a life-long resident of Columbia County, and has been active in real estate sales for almost ten years. A retired special education teacher at the Catskill school district, she brings a unique patience and a wonderful sense of humor to her relationships with buyers and sellers. Carol has a degree in interior design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and has her own interior decorating business. A resident of Greenport, Carol loves antiquing and skiing and volunteers at Tanglewood.
Scott has held a real estate license for almost ten years, and brings the expertise gained from being an active buyer and seller of investment property to his real estate career. Scott also owns a lawn care and property maintenance business, and lives in Chatham with his wife and three children.

A graduate of Barnard College with a degree in economics, Denise opened Chatham Properties in 1989
after enjoying a career as a Vice President in finance and marketing at a major New York City bank
during the 1980's. Denise spent summers and weekends in Columbia County during her childhood and
loves having the opportunity to live here full-time. She has served on the Board of Directors of the
Columbia County Chamber of Commerce, and Special Needs, Inc., recently completed a five year term
as a member of the Board of Education for Chatham Central School District and is an active member of
the Board of Directors for Chatham Excellence in Education, a non-profit organization. She has actively
supported the Columbia County Land Conservancy, Chatham Village Historical Society, and the Columbia
Greene Humane Society.
