Denise Dapice, Principal Broker

A graduate of Barnard College with a degree in economics, Denise opened Chatham Properties in 1989 after enjoying a career as a Vice President in finance and marketing at a major New York City bank during the 1980’s. Denise spent summers and weekends in Columbia County during her childhood and loves having the opportunity to live here full-time. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce, and Special Needs, Inc. Denise is presently serving a five year term on the Board of Education for Chatham Central School District and is an active member of the Board of Directors for Chatham Excellence in Education, a non-profit organization. She has actively supported the Columbia County Land Conservancy and Chatham Village Historical Society, and is on the fund raising committee for the Columbia Greene Humane Society. Denise lives in Chatham with her 17 year old daughter, Lauren.

Marcy Heintz, Associate Broker

Marcy has over 21 years of experience in the real estate industry. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Columbia Northern Dutchess Multiple Listing Service and the Columbia Greene Board of Realtors. She has volunteered her time to community service organizations and enjoys skiing, collecting antiques, entertaining and traveling. Born in New York City, Marcy currently resides in Ghent, but has lived in several other townships in Columbia County.

Kay Irish, Associate Broker

After a successful career in advertising sales with Gannett Corporation, Kay moved from White Plains, New York to Red Rock in Columbia County in 2000 and joined Chatham Properties. She will be the 2007-2008 President of the Kinderhook Garden Club and is a member of the Old Chatham Hunt Club. She actively supports the Columbia County Historical Society, Red Rock Historical Society and helps with fund-raising for the Columbia Greene Humane Society. Kay, who is a graduate of Cornell University, loves to garden and participates in several book clubs.

Carol Bermingham, Sales Associate

A life-long resident of Columbia County, Carol has been active in real estate sales for 6 years. She works as a special education teacher for the Catskill school district and devotes her weekends and summers to selling real estate. Carol is currently studying interior design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and has her own interior decorating business. A resident of Greenport, Carol loves antiquing and skiing and volunteers at Tanglewood.

Scott Palladino, Sales Associate

Scott has held a real estate license for over seven years, and brings the expertise gained from being an active buyer and seller of investment property to his real estate career. Scott also owns a lawn care and property maintenance business, and lives in Chatham with his wife and three children.

Cara Nelsen, Sales Associate

Cara lives in Catskill and is very familiar with both Columbia and Greene County. She is passionate about her animal rescue activities and also works part-time as a counselor /social worker. She volunteers a lot of time to the Columbia Greene Humane Society and enjoys painting landscapes and animal portraits.

Beth Hover, Sales Associate

Beth returned to real estate after taking a hiatus to raise three sons. During that time she was a teacher at the Chatham Central School District and continues to head the elementary school math department. Over the last thirty-five years Beth has adopted the Chatham community as her home and has been involved with many community programs such as Chatham High School's Booster Club, Parent Teacher Association, Sean's Run (a program that educates students about the need for seat-belts and the perils of drunk driving, and raises money for scholarships), and Chatham little League. Beth believes that her extensive knowledge of the area allows her to successfully help sellers market their property and buyers find the perfect home.
